❤Cute Kokeshi Doll See-Thru Page Marker❤

Address refills are now up on my Etsy shop!

They are for the POCKET size, but I’m planning on making them for the PERSONAL size as well 🙂

Last night, I was thinking about making some page markers but I couldn’t come up with the designs I really like…
So I decided to make one with the idea which I came up with long ago to help me refresh my thoughts!

Here is the “See-thru divider” which I made a while back, and I was going to make something similar but a cuter version of it 🙂

Filofax Malden Vintage Pink 4 640x480
I did some designing on Photoshop based on my rough sketches…

Then I printed it out and cut out the parts I didn’t need.  It was a bit of a hassle to cut out the middle part, but I managed it somehow.

Then I laminated it with a laminator, but it’s not 100% flat, can you see?

When I use my laminator it always becomes ever so slightly uneven, so I always use a clothes iron afterwards to make it smooth and flat.

And here is the finished sample of the “See-Thru Page Marker”!

To be honest, the original version of the See-Thru divider (the first photo) was more practical as you can see both pages perfectly when the divider is in between.  But this one is a lot cuter 🙂

  1. What can I say but how *lovely*! 🙂

If you ever feel like selling your entire organiser, exactly as it is…

    Even your handwriting is cute!

    • Thank you Helen! And thank you for replying to my email 🙂 I will try to write you back as soon as possible! I really wish I had enough equipment to make the entire binder- that’s my dream (^o^)!

    • I would definitely use a Multi8 pen (or any colour pencils/pens) and lots of cute stickers to cute up anything! When I was using a Hobonichi Techo (it’s a Japanese bound planner) I used to use my multi-8 pen/stickers/stamps to make my pages cheerful 😉

  2. Im always in awe with what you come up with!! Those pages are adorable! I wanted to tell you that my son loved his keychain!! Thank you! He knew right away what it said lol

    • Thank you, Ray! I haven’t left a comment on your latest post yet, but your posts are amazing and really inspiring, and I often get new ideas from them! I used to use my clothes iron to laminate everything, but I often made mistakes (like heated up the laminating pouch too long and completely ruined it or something.) so I finally bought a laminator one day. But unfortunately my laminator doesn’t do a great job so I still need to use my clothes iron afterwards 😦 I actually just ordered a new laminator yesterday which is supposed to be for a professional use, so hopefully it will make things easier for me!

  3. super cute!!, I should have seen this before I placed my order. Anyway, my inserts and dividers are on the way. I’ll be enjoying those and place new orders along with something esle you add to the line.

    • Hi Nont, thank you for sending me messages on Etsy as well! I haven’t decided if I will sell this see-thru page marker yet as it’s not so easy to make it nice and flat- it always become uneven after using my laminator. I ordered a new laminator yesterday and hopefully it will do a fantastic job!

  4. Love your page marker idea/design – your creativity is so inspiring! The dividers I got from you are such a joy to use – thank you!
Dare I ask, if you ever consider making an A5 version of the page marker (and your address pages) please let me know…I have tried to use a pocket & personal size Filofaxes but the A5 is the only one for me!
Also, love the link you posted to your note book – just adore your drawings, the colours & the cuteness!

    • Thank you, Lisa! I’m so glad to hear that you are enjoying using the dividers 🙂 I’m not 100% sure yet, but I might be able to try to make some refills for the A5 size. I can make page markers for the A5 size with no problem (but not the see-thru one you see in this post), it’s just that It’s been quite difficult for me to find time for designing these days…! Oh, that’s a photo of my Hobonichi planner which I used to use before I started using a Filofax. I used to love that planner as it had a plenty of space for writings and drawings 🙂

  6. I really love this, the final product looks fantastic! Although I prefer the later version, I’d love to have a plain see-through divider for my monthly calendar. Please let me know if you can find the spare time to make one for sale. x

    • Thank you very much! Oh, you’d like a simple version without any characters? I’m thinking of making some simple/plain page-markers without any characters, so I’ll put them up on this blog when I make them 🙂

      • Yes! very much looking forward to it 🙂

Actually, I wouldn’t mind a version with the characters. I was thinking the simple version because I have the basic filofax monthly calendar inserts but, I suppose I could have half of it visible and half not!

        • Oh? So you don’t mind using ones with characters? That would help speed things up! 😉 I’m working on several little projects at the moment, but you’ll see all the updates on this blog 🙂

  7. One day, i will purchase your organizer because i know you are heading that way with these items.
    Can’t wait….
    I’ll keep following you.
thanx for sharing, love your stuff so much 🙂
