❤Kokeshi Dolls Weekly Refills for PERSONAL Size❤

Thank you very much for waiting!  I’ve put up the weekly refills for the Personal size on my Etsy shop today!  Like I wrote in my last post, they are for just 12 weeks, not for an entire year.

I went to London last weekend as I had to go to the Japanese embassy to get some paperwork done for my uncle in Japan.  I got there on Sunday afternoon and left there on Monday evening so didn’t have much time while I was there, but I managed to go to Japan Center right near Piccaddily Circus and bought a lot of Japanese ingredients which I use for cooking.
Most sushi were sold out at the Japan Centre, so I walked into Itsu on the same street and bought sushi to eat at the hotel.

It was a lot better than what I usually buy from supermarkets like Marks & Spencer etc.  I’m so jealous of people who live in London!!!

As you know, the London Marathon was held on Sunday, so there were still so many people when I got there around 5 pm.

My throat has been sore since I got back from London. When I catch a cold it always starts in my throat , so I was worried that my temperature would go up as well.  So I made myself a lot of special ginger/garlic/miso/spring onion soup (!!) and kept on eating it, and I’m 95% cured now!

I hope you are having a lovely weekend!

❤Kokeshi Dolls Weekly Refills for POCKET Size❤

Japan Corner will be closed on Monday 22nd of April.

I worked on the weekly refills this weekend and I’ve finished making them for the POCKET size.

I hope you like them!!

Like I mentioned in my last post, this is a set of weekly refills for 12 weeks (3 months), not for a whole year.  I designed 4 patters so you see different designs when you turn pages!  (Each of the 4 designs runs in sequence and repeats itself every four weeks.)

3 copyThere is a space for notes above the space for Monday.

Originally I was going to put tick boxes in the space for each day, but  I ended up leaving them blank for more flexibility.

These are undated refills so you can fill in dates and start using them whenever you like. (Days from Monday to Sunday are already printed.)

These weekly refills are only available for the POCKET size at the moment on my Etsy shop:

I’m still working on the ones for the PERSONAL size and I hope I can get them ready soon!!

Thank you for reading 🙂

Should I make weekly refills?

Time flies!!  It’s already in April and I hope you had a nice Easter holiday!

When I went to the post office after Easter I got really surprised that the prices got raised AGAIN (mainly the international postage)!!  So I had to raise the P&P for the items at Japan Corner as well even though I hate to do that 😦
It’s been a long time since I wrote my last post, and I can’t remember what I was going to write this time, but here is my quick painting of a Maneki Neko.  Maneki Neko means “beckoning cat” and it’s believed to invite good fortune!

Actually, this painting has been taken out of the frame and now it’s ready to be sent because someone wanted to purchase it!

By the way, I’ve been receiving quite a few inquiries about the week-on-two-pages refills.  I’ve been selling monthly refills and address refills, but not weekly refills.  The reason for this is that the maximum pages I can print out in one go is about 26 pages (for the POCKET & PERSONAL) like the monthly refills I’m selling now because the colour printing with my inkjet printer takes a veeeeeery long time 😦  (Even though my printer is still quite new!)

26 pages means the maximum I could make for week-on-two-pages would be 12 weeks (3 months).  The price would be about the same price as the monthly refills which means it would cost quite a lot if you wanted them for a whole year.  But if there is still demand for them I would give it a try, you know…

Anyway, I’ve already received quite a few inquries, so I guess I would try to do some designing first.  I don’t know when I can finish making them, but if they turn out to be nice refills I will show them to you here on this blog!
