Back to doodling in a Hobonichi Techo!

::INFORMATION::

I am terribly sorry that my shop has been temporarily closed again!!  I opened my shop on the 10th after my holiday, however a large number of orders suddenly came through so I had to stop accepting any more new orders.  I am going to re-open tomorrow morning (Friday, 17th) but there is still a possibility that a lot of orders will come through again. In that case it might take longer than usual to send items (it can take up to 6 to 7 days to send items).  Thank you very much for your understanding, and if you are not in a hurry maybe it’s best to order sometime later, maybe in February 🙂

While I was visiting Japan I was quite busy meeting up with friends and so on and didn’t have much time for shopping.  Unfortunately I didn’t have time to go to my favourite big Loft store (they sell a huge amount of cute stationery items!), but I could go to the small Loft store in Kawagoe city where my dad lives (where I used to live as well before coming to the UK).

At the small Loft store in Kawagoe, there was a small section for the Hobonichi Techo (Japanese day-per-page planner).  There were some basic Hobonichi Techo and some nylon covers so I bought a regular sized Hobonichi without a cover.

I wasn’t planning to buy a Hobonichi Techo as I’m using my Filofax in 2014, but I’ve actually  been missing doodling on Hobonichi’s daily pages.  I can doodle on Filofax pages of course, but I somehow really missed doodling in Hobonichi Techo!!

So anyway, I got a Hobonichi Techo and a “shitajiki”, but I didn’t get a cover because I have  a leather cover which was purchased in 2009. (Shitajiki = a hard sheet to place under paper for writing.)

So now I’m back to doodling again, yay!  In 2014, I’m going to use my Filofax for work and Hobonichi Techo as a diary and for lots of doodling!

I’m using my multi8 for colouring 🙂

    1. Hi Suzee! I’ve seen an American seller selling a Multi 8 on eBay! It’s a “Pentel Multi 8” 🙂 I love the paper of Hobonichi Techo, it’s really thin (but the ink doesn’t go through easily!) and smooth and just perfect for doodling!

    1. Hi Doris! I’m happy that you like Hobonichi Techo as well! 🙂 I use my Filofax and Hobonichi in different ways, and I definitely need my Hobonichi for doodling and scrap booking! 😉

  2. Hello, while browsing for anything Hobonichi, I found your post and enjoyed reading it very much. I love the red leather cover, would you be able to let me know where you bought it? Even though it has been a few years. 🙂
    I also enjoy reading your Filofax posts. Have a wonderful day. Susanne

    1. Hi Susanne! Thank you very much for your comment 🙂 The cover is actually brown, and I bought it from the Hobonichi Store in 2009! I’m happy to hear that you enjoyed reading my posts, thank you! I haven’t been able to update this blog as I had a baby last year, but once the things settle down I hope to start spending more time for my beloved Filofax and update my blog like I used to ❤ Have a wonderful day, too!

  3. Undeniably consider that which you said. Your favorite reason seemed to
    be on the net the easiest factor to take note of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed even as people think about concerns that they just
    don’t recognise about. You managed to hit the nail upon the highest as
    well as defined out the entire thing without having side-effects
    , other folks could take a signal. Will likely be again to get more.
    Thanks
