I have quite a few stickers like I said in my last post. I used to keep them organised in a small file but not all of them can fit in it so I usually keep them in one bag. It’s been quite stressful to find the sticker I want in the pile of stickers!
I don’t have a small folder in which I can nicely organise all my stickers, so I decided to use some cello bags I already have.
I cut the self-sealing part off the bags because I don’t need it. Then I made holes by a punch so I can hold the cello bags together by a ribbon.
Ta-daaa!
It’s a lot easier to look through the stickers now 🙂
I thought the ribbon would be loose and it would fall apart easily, but it’s quite sturdy to my surprise! (Or maybe it’s just because it always stays at home unlike my Filofax which comes with me everywhere I go.) Anyway, it’s such a nice feeling to get things arganized, hehe.
By the way, in my last post I said that my weekly resolution was to keep the Week On Two Pages neat and attractive!

I’m not quite sure if they are neat and attractive, but I’ve been enjoying writing things in with stickers, stamps and my Multi 8 pen. (My post on a Multi 8 pen is HERE.)
Oh yes, the stamps! I made more stamps after I wrote my last post. I was into making eraser stamps for a while in June (you can see them HERE and HERE) and now it’s coming back again! I’m still not so good at it yet, but it’s definitely a good fun.
These are the ones I use most often.

I got some small wooden pieces today, and I’m thinking of using them as handles for my stamps. I’m not quite sure how it will go, but I hope I can show you some of them in my next post!
Lastly, this is my latest painting! This gate is called Kaminarimon Gate and it’s in Asakusa, Tokyo. The printed version of this painting is available HERE.

Organizing your stickers like that seems like a good idea I should follow !!! A few weeks ago I was in Japan reading a book on how to organize your diary and your picture reminds me of it! Love the painting too.

Yes I was in Japan during the summer for a month and a half and I got lots of stickers ^^. I haven’t organized them though but I should to make more space. Japan is great in the summer , I miss my favourite sento already!
Maybe both of us were in Japan at the same time!? (I was in Japan in July for 3 weeks.) I’m so surprised to hear that you like Japanese summer and you have your favourite sento!! I live in England and when I visited Japan in July after two and a half years I felt so tired every day because of the heat and humidity! And I thought a lot of foreigners hesitate to go to a Japanese public bath because you have to be totally naked..lol!
Yes I think a lot of men think so but I loooove the sento especially the cold bath when there is one. I think it’s soo relaxing and also women chat more people sometimes ask me questions it’s quite funny. I went to Ooedo onsen in Tokyo this year but I prefer Kinosaki onsen. I’m kind of a Japan freak I go every year, Japan is the source of my well being for the whole year ^^. I miss the heat now, as for humidity I was one week in Seoul and I thought it was much more humid and it rained every day. I was in japan in July too and August hihi. I love shopping in Japan too I have a lot of masking tapes and books and 100 yen shop things !!! But now it’s time to go back to work.
Wow, you really do love onsen! I’m sure a lot of Japanese women get excited if they see you in an onsen because we rarely see a foreigner in any onsen! I love Japanese 100 yen shops as well- I went to many of them in July 🙂

I wish I could practice making stamps every day to get better more quickly because there are so many stamps I want to try to make! There are a lot of people out there who can make amazing stamps and I want to be like them!!
Your sticker file is so cute, simple, and practical. I have a similar system for organizing my postage stamps (I’m not a collector, I just like to have a variety to choose from); I use an A5 ring binder (the 20-ring variety) and plastic pockets/sheet protectors from MUJI. You’ve inspired me to get more supplies and use this method for organizing my sticker sheets as well. Your self-made stamps are great by the way and your weekly spread looks lovely.

I guess it’s best to have a small two ring binder to hold them together for a longer life, but I quite like the look of it now, so I’ll stick with it for now 🙂
Wow, thats some sticker collection! You have inspired me to try to make some stamps too, although it looks like it could be quite fiddly. I was looking at stamps in the shops the other day and they are quite expensive. I like your idea though because you can make them into anything you like. I love them! Great idea 🙂
Thank you very much! Oh, yes it’s really fiddly and I struggled a lot at the beginning! So I read people’s blogs on how to make homemade stamps and watched some tutorials on YouTube 🙂 I know, the stamps are rediculously expensive in general! That’s one of the reasons why I decided to make my own as all I need are just some cheap erasers to make them 😛
